Corvette Cleveland Scholarship Program


Corvette Cleveland has made a commitment to sponsoring two (2) scholarship awards. This year, two qualifying students who are family members of the greater club membership, will be awarded $1000.00 each after being selected by our Scholarship Committee via an impartial and anonymous applicant review process.

Who is Eligible

Scholarships will be awarded for any college or trade school. However, the program will not consider awarding graduate study beyond a Bachelor's degree. Eligibility requirements are as follows for qualifying Corvette Cleveland members:

  • Children
  • Grandchildren
  • Previous scholarship winners will be eligible to receive the award again in subsequent years

Qualifying Member

A member who has been an active member for at least 2 years. Also, the member must be a member in good standing with the National Council of Corvette Clubs.

What are the Application Requirements

Once your eligibility is verified, the following Application Process must be completed with all requirements fulfilled. Please review the Official Scholarship Rules document for more information.

  • All sections of the Scholarship Application Form must be filled out completely.
  • The date or deadline for submission of all documents and forms to the Scholarship Committee will be May 1st.
  • Applicant must provide a copy of their official high school transcript, along with an acceptance letter from an accredited trade school or college (Existing college students should submit a copy of their official college transcript).
  • Applicant must provide 3 letters of recommendation. Letters can only be written by teachers, employers, guidance counselors and clergy. Letters from relatives will not be accepted. The letters must provide the address and phone number of the person writing the letter. They must also state their occupation and how they know the applicant.
  • An essay must be submitted by the applicant explaining why they feel they should be considered for this award. The essay should be a minimum of 300 words with a maximum of 500, and must clearly state the applicants' career goals.
  • Applicant must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Applicant will provide a record of involvement in extracurricular activities for high school or college.

All documents required by the application process must be converted to and provided in Portable Document Format (PDF).
